Ensure that upon each scan the device displays access granted or access denied message or changes the color of the Led at the top. If not, then reposition your device, take off your glasses (if you are wearing any), and use a different mask (surgical masks preferred).
The management console fails to collect pass records from the device if there is a difference in the time settings of both, the GoSafe device and the management console.
To ensure that no such issue occurs:
- Ensure that stranger record is on (to collect stranger records if stranger mode has been turned on). Please follow the instructions below to enable the stranger mode and stranger record.
- Connect your USB mouse to the GoSafe device and click on the middle scroll button of the mouse. The following window should appear:
- Enter your password (“123456” by default)
- Click on “Application Settings”
- Click on “Body Temperature Test”.
- Turn on the “Stranger mode” and “Stranger records”.
- Make sure that the time settings on the GoSafe are the same as those on the management console.
- If the device still fails to collect pass records, manually configure the time settings on the GoSafe device. To configure the time settings on the GoSafe device please follow the instructions below:
- Connect your USB mouse to the GoSafe device and click on the right mouse button twice.
- Enter the device password (the default password is 123456).
- Click on the Settings gear on the bottom menu.
- In the case of GS-1(Q) or GS-1(Q) Pro devices, go to system > date and time settings.
- In the case of the GS-1(R) device, scroll down and go to date and time settings.
- Once, you are in the date and time menu, please turn off the “Automatic date & time “and “Automatic time zone “options.
- Manually set the date, time and select the time zone.
