The following steps explain how to connect the device to the management console:
- Open the management console on your system and note down the server address (Ip address is everything before the . Also, note that your IP might be different than the one appearing in the image below.)
- Input the IP address into the device in the login management option. To get to login management on your device please follow the instructions below:
- Connect a mouse to your GoSafe device.
- Press the middle scrolling wheel on your mouse.
- Enter the device password. The default password is 123456.
- Click on Login management.
- The following steps should be considered while connecting the device to the management console:
- The device and the system (Management console) should be connected to the same network.
- Make sure that the management console has been downloaded and installed.
- Ensure that multiple instances of the GoSafe management console are not open at the same time.
- Also ensure that TCP ports 9000, 7788, and 3307 are open on your network, both for inbound and outbound connections.
- Ensure that your antivirus software is not blocking the software from communicating to the GoSafe device.
