GoSafe device saying “Unable to reach server” or “Server not responding” on login management

After entering the IP into the login management settings in the GoSafe device, if the device gives of an error message saying “Unable to reach server” or “Server not responding”, kindly follow the following steps:

  • Make sure that the entered IP is correct (“192.168.1.103” as in the referenced picture above).
  • Make sure that the device and the management console are on the same network.
  • Also, ensure that no other Gosafe server is deployed and running on the same network. If it is running, close that server (console) and try reconnecting the device again.
  • If the above does not work, close the console. Create a mobile hotspot, launch the GoSafe console and connect your GoSafe device and the management console to that hotspot. Repeat the steps to log the GoSafe device onto the management console. If they are connected and communicating successfully, then the issue may lie on the network restrictions.
